Formed in January 2011 initially as an experimental acoustic duo, vocalist Rob Jones and guitarist Rich Meades were later joined by bassist Jon Hassell and percussionist Nick Peters. The Beggar’s Collective sound is heavily influenced by delta blues, folk, early nineties grunge and soul with their moody, bleak sound being captured in its raw form on their debut eponymous EP.
